Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are expected to marry over Memorial Day weekend in a private ceremony in the Bahamas, according to a source familiar with the plans.
The couple is reportedly planning a small wedding on a private island attended by close family members and friends rather than a large public celebration.
The decision marks a shift from earlier discussions about holding a more elaborate wedding at the White House. According to previous reports, the couple reconsidered those plans amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
“They’re very aware that a lavish wedding at the White House while people are dying wouldn’t be well-received,” a source told Page Six.
Instead of postponing the wedding indefinitely, the couple reportedly opted for a more intimate ceremony.
Anderson recently held an “Enchanted Garden”-themed bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in April, according to Page Six’s report. Guests reportedly included Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump and Marla Maples.
Donald Trump Jr.’s daughter, Kai Trump, also attended the event, according to reports.
The bridal shower was hosted by several Palm Beach socialites and featured guests such as Daphne Oz and Amy Baier, Bret Baier’s wife.
During the celebration, Trump Jr. reportedly delivered a toast praising Anderson.
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina,” he said, according to one attendee. “She is smart, loving and caring.”
Reports of the couple’s engagement first surfaced in December. According to earlier accounts, Trump Jr. proposed to Anderson at Camp David while the pair celebrated her birthday.
Trump Jr., 48, and Anderson, 39, began dating in 2024 following the end of his engagement to former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Trump Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018. The former couple share five children.
