The FBI’s unprecedented Monday raid on President Donald Trump’s private residence in Mar-a-Lago shook the nation.
For years, Trump and his family have been the target of multiple investigations, all which have remarkably resulted in no charges. From now-debunked cries of “Russian collusion” to two failed attempts at impeachment, the radical left’s attacks keep coming.
The Jan. 6 Committee has further attempted to find evidence to suggest that President Trump somehow incited the “insurrection” that took place at the U.S. Capitol in 2021. Despite weeks of fanfare surrounding a series of televised hearings, no evidence has ever been found.
Now, the FBI has conducted a full-scale intrusion into Trump’s home, and many Americans are wondering where this leaves the balance of justice in the United States.
“It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections,” Trump wrote in an official statement made through his Save America PAC on Monday.
He added, “Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House.”
Clinton’s Emails
By 2014, ahead of a heated presidential election between Clinton and President Donald Trump, the former secretary of state had deleted over 30,000 emails in relation to government work, according to ABC News. At that time, Clinton’s lawyers provided around 55,000 pages of emails to the State Department, while an additional 30,000 or more emails were deleted, the outlet added. Their report cited that Clinton’s reasoning for deleting the emails was “because they were personal and private about matters that I believed were within the scope of my personal privacy.”
ABC further reported that following a year-long review, the FBI managed to recover over 17,000 deleted emails and that despite Clinton’s claim that they were personal and private, “many of them were work related,” the FBI stated.
It begs the question: why is there a double standard in treatment when it comes to political figures? Hillary Clinton was involved in deleting emails after they were requested by the State Department, which later drew the attention of Congress – and yet, the FBI never raided her home.
Political Persecution
The media’s narrative suggests that the reason for the FBI’s unprecedented siege of the 45th president’s Palm Beach home was because he had allegedly taken “classified” information from the White House and stored it there illegally.
Per RSBN, Trump attorney Christina Bobb handily slammed that theory stating, “This is nothing more than political theater. The radical left is so threatened by President Trump, they’ll do anything to prevent him from taking the Oval Office again.”
Even more disturbingly, Eric Trump, the son of President Trump, told the Daily Mail that FBI agents “refused to hand over the search warrant for their rad on Mar-a-Lago and kicked an attorney off the property.” The attorney was Christina Bobb.
“Biden knew all about this,” Trump commented in a remark posted to Truth Social on Wednesday, “just like he know all about Hunter’s ‘deals.’”
The comment poked a stick at shocking allegations about Hunter Biden’s suspicious business dealings in Ukraine, based on evidence exhumed from his infamous laptop, which contained emails and information related to the Biden family’s business dealings.
The Double Standard
With the FBI’s raid on Trump’s home a fresh wound on the landscape of American dignity and due process, it’s impossible to miss the double standard between the treatment of Hillary Clinton and President Trump. Where entrenched career politicians seem to receive a free pass from three-letter agencies for discrepancies or alleged misconduct, President Trump is constantly persecuted by endless investigations – which ironically have yielded no results for his political opponents.
ACT for America Founder Bridgette Gabriel called for the FBI to be dismantled in a statement posted to Twitter on Wednesday, and many conservatives seem to share her sentiment.
Although the hypocrisy is clear, President Trump reminded supporters on Monday that the establishment “hated” what he did during his term as president, noting that he “truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before.”
“The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped,” he added.
