Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) co-leader Elon Musk celebrated the future of America during his speech on President Trump’s second Inauguration Day.

He danced around onstage before addressing the crowd. Musk noted that the United States had faced a “fork in the road of human civilization,” and prevailed.

He explained the importance of the 2024 presidential election and thanked American voters. “It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured,” he added.

“We’re gonna have safe cities–finally safe cities, secured borders, sensible spending; sensible stuff,” he went on.

Musk then promised, “And we’re gonna take DOGE to Mars.” He expressed the human need for inspiration and hope as he described his plan to see American astronauts planting the American flag on another planet.

“I’m gonna work my a** off for you guys,” he added, stating, “I’m super fired up for the future!”

Musk affirmed President Donald Trump’s prediction that America will embark on a Golden Age and called it “fantastic.”

He heralded American optimism for its ability to drive us forward and concluded, “I’m just so excited about the future.”
