SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk admitted regrets over some of his inflammatory comments against President Donald Trump early Wednesday.

“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week,” he wrote on X, adding, “They went too far.”

Multiple conservatives have already responded, thanking him for the public apology.

RSBN reported on the new feud last week after Musk avidly opposed the 47th President’s latest push for legislators to pass the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which contains multiple tax cuts.

This came just after Musk departed from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the end of May, per RSBN.

In addition to offering an end to the feud, Musk also put rumors of regretting his role at DOGE to bed. Regardless of his disagreement with one of Trump’s political plans, he commented on a post that detailed how he took a 25 percent hit to his net worth while seeking to reduce government spending at DOGE.

He called his experience working for the American people “Worth it.”
