Eric Trump is expected to join his father, President Donald Trump, on a planned trip to China next month, traveling alongside his wife, Lara Trump, according to a report published Tuesday.

The visit, scheduled for May 14-15, would mark the first time a sitting U.S. president has traveled to China in eight years. The trip had been delayed by more than a month amid tensions in the Middle East.

A spokesperson for the Trump Organization said Eric Trump will attend in a personal capacity and will not conduct business while in China.

“Eric is deeply proud of his father and the accomplishments of this term, and is attending in a personal capacity as a supportive son,” spokeswoman Kimberly Benza said. “He does not have business ventures in China nor plans on doing business in China. He will not be participating in private meetings, but will instead stand alongside the president to mark this historic occasion.”

The White House has described the visit as part of ongoing efforts to maintain stable relations between the United States and China.

Eric Trump serves as executive vice president of the Trump Organization, where he oversees investments, including real estate and golf properties. Lara Trump hosts the news program “The Right View with Lara Trump,” which airs on RSBN.

As RSBN previously reported, Eric Trump recently released the book “Under Siege: My Family’s Fight to Save Our Nation,” highlighting the challenges the Trump family has faced since President Donald Trump initially ran for office.

The book debuted as a #1 bestseller on Amazon and across multiple subcategories, including “Biographies” and “Memoirs.”

“Thank you to Simon & Schuster and their wonderful team – never did I think I would be an author, let alone one that would top the most prestigious list in the world!” Mr. Trump wrote on X.

He added, “It’s even more meaningful on a day like today where we have peace in the world… Today made the Siege all worth it!”
