Family members of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz have come out in support of President Donald Trump, according to a new report.

A picture posted by Charles Herbster revealed eight reported Nebraska family members of the Minnesota governor wearing shirting that read “Nebraska Walz’s for Trump.”

“Tim Walz’s family back in Nebraska wants you to know something…” his post on X read.

Trump also shared the image on his Truth Social account that had been shared by Charlie Kirk.

A report from the Daily Mail stated that “those posing are related to Walz through his grandfather’s brother.”

The news closely follows a report by RSBN revealing that the brother of Tim Walz wrote that he is opposed to his brother’s political ideas and was considering a public endorsement of President Donald Trump.

Jeff Walz shared the comments on Facebook over the weekend that garnered widespread reactions from Trump supporters.

Walz originally posted on March 30, 2023, that, “We’ve just become a third world republic.”

A recent comment from a Facebook user named Liz O’Neil asked Walz to “Help MAGA… Get on stage with President Trump and endorse him…; Help save this country…”

The vice presidential candidate’s brother offered a surprising response.

“I’ve thought hard about doing something like that! I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it. The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future,” Walz wrote.

Jeff Walz told News Nation since the Facebook post that he had no plans to endorse either candidate.

“I was getting a lot of feedback from my friends, old acquaintances, thinking that I was feeling the same way that my brother did on the issues, and I was trying to clarify that just to friends,” Jeff Walz said. “I used Facebook, which wasn’t the right platform to do that. But I will say, I don’t agree with his policies.”

Jeff Walz also told the outlet that he found out about his brother’s plans to serve as running mate to Vice President Kamala Harris on the radio.

“The only thing I took exception to, and I will stand behind this 100%, was that we felt bad
that we found out about his being picked as the vice presidential candidate from radio,” Jeff Walz said. “And we felt like we probably should have been given a heads-up and some type of security, at least for a short time, because I guess that is a big thing.”
