The FBI whistleblowers’ testimony is rocking the nation, but one aspect of new allegations details serious crimes in which the FBI incentivized investigations with monetary bonuses.
House Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, posted a clip of his Jesse Waters interview on Fox News with Special Agent Garret O’Boyle, where O’Boyle discussed how the agency incentivized opening investigations which led to “a system in the FBI where the executive management does get a cash bonus if they get gold check marks in certain… criterias.”
During testimony regarding the weaponization of the FBI, Special Agent O’Boyle detailed how he was retaliated against for trying to expose serious concerns. He described it as an “Orwellian atmosphere,” per RSBN.
The House Judiciary GOP posted a clip of his testimony to Twitter in which he detailed how his family was forced “to beg and borrow warm coats for their children because the family’s belongings were locked in an FBI-controlled storage facility.”
This is said to have been done in retaliation for O’Boyle working to expose potential FBI crimes. In recent years, questionable actions have been displayed by the FBI regarding various cases, according to The Federalist.
During the Jesse Waters interview, racial politics also came up as the Fox host asked about the FBI’s decision to deem “white supremacy” America’s top threat. Being that white Americans are the major demographic in the U.S., this move would likely lead to more investigations which could offer agents more bonuses.
O’Boyle affirmed this connection and also noted that in order to ensure that the FBI is upholding their oath to America and its citizens, “It’s gonna take a lot of work. It’s gonna take a lot of brave men and women inside the FBI and outside the FBI.”
