Liberals set on protesting the 2024 Republican National Convention (RNC) next week were denied a request to protest through the event’s security zone.

According to the AP News, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Coalition to March on the RNC 2024 accused the city of Milwaukee of violating their First Amendment rights in a lawsuit brought last month.

The liberal organizations sought to direct their “parade route” close enough to see and hear the RNC speakers at the four-day event.

U.S. District Judge Brett Ludwig disagreed. He stated in his order, “The First Amendment does not allow them to protest or parade in any way they choose.”

“The vast majority of the resulting security plan is a reasonable and valid time, place, and manner regulation on speech,” he added.

The Secret Service Security Plan was released back in February and the RNC is drawing notable speakers from across the nation.

RSBN reported that the official RNC program was recently announced and is full of American First content designed to support President Donald Trump and his vision to “Make America Great Once Again.”
