FEEL GOOD: Mike Lindell delivers pillows to survivors of Hurricane Ian in Florida

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell warmed hearts this week when he discussed his current mission to help survivors of Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers, Florida, during an episode of Steve Bannon’s “War Room.”

“We’re in Fort Myers, and I’ve been here all morning, Steve,” Lindell said. “I’m with Samaritan’s Purse. They’re amazing. We started out with prayer this morning about 6:00 a.m., and now we’re going neighborhood by neighborhood. We’re giving out MyPillows, My Bible Pillows, the children[‘]s pillows, blankets…”

Samaritan’s Purse is a non-profit organization dedicated to Christian-led international disaster relief. The organization is nondenominational, according to its mission statement, and is led by CEO Franklin Graham, the son of the late Reverend Billy Graham.

Hurricane Ian ripped through Florida in late September, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake, particularly in Southwest Florida.

“Samaritan’s Purse is amazing, Steve,” Lindell continued. “…They’re always there every time there’s a tragedy in our country…like this hurricane.”

He continued, “One of the things I’m finding out down here is like, this is already old news, it seems like…these people are going ‘Yeah, they’ve forgotten about us.’” Yet Lindell pointed out that Samaritan’s Purse was among “the first ones to get there” and “seems like the last ones to leave.”

Preceding his arrival in Florida, Lindell’s official Instagram account shared a photo of a MyPillow semi-truck headed to Fort Myers to provide supplies to hurricane victims. “The MyPillow semi-trailer is full of pillows and blankets on the way to Fort Myers!” the caption read. “Mike will be there in person to hand out supplies to hurricane victims.”

In the aftermath of the hurricane, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has been praised for his swift response and leadership. President Donald Trump even gave credit to DeSantis during last week’s Hispanic Leadership Conference in Miami.

Per RSBN, Trump stated, “We also thank God for the Coast Guard and the National Guard – law enforcement, always, and first responders, and countless others who have stepped forward in this time of need. And, God bless our governor and God bless all of the mayors.”
