A fence is going back up at the U.S. Capitol this week ahead of Joe Biden’s scheduled State of the Union address on Tuesday night. “The fence is back up around the Capitol for SOTU because Biden knows walls work on the ground,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., remarked on Twitter, taking a jab at Biden’s catastrophic open-borders policy.

“Joe Biden is more afraid of Americans visiting their Capitol than a Chinese Spy Balloon invading our air space that could have carried God only knows what,” she continued.

Greene’s comments come shortly after U.S. military officials finally ordered the termination of a Chinese spy balloon on Saturday after it was allowed to drift across the entire Continental United States for a full week, as reported by RSBN.

President Trump called the Biden administration’s failure to act swiftly and decisively regarding the presence of the balloon a “disgrace.” He added that the Biden administration was “grossly incompetent. “

Via RSBN, the fencing around the U.S. Capitol will reportedly remain in place until Wednesday.

Ahead of Biden’s State of the Union, President Trump took the lead in the 2024 battle for the presidency in a new national survey from ABC News and the Washington Post, netting 48 percent against Joe Biden’s 45 percent of support, Breitbart reported.

However, Trump was swift to point out on Sunday on Truth Social that while “our” poll numbers were “Excellent,” many polls have “proven to be so corrupt, wrong, or incompetent in the past, especially those of ABC FAKE NEWS/WASHINGTON COMPOST; FOX FAKE NEWS; and NBC FAKE NEWS/GLOBALIST STREET JOURNAL, that they have become somewhat meaningless, just a political weapon.”

The metal fencing around the U.S. Capitol is reminiscent of fencing that was erected in 2021. Per ABC, the 2021 seven-foot-tall fencing remained in place for around six months after Biden took office.
