In the latest reelection ad released by the Ron DeSantis campaign, Floridians gather to praise the governor for his leadership and policies that have fortified the state during trying times.
The one-minute ad titled “Results” and published by Gov. DeSantis’s wife, Casey DeSantis, showcased Floridians thanking the governor for his policies that have boosted the economy, helped businesses remain open, and allowed students to go back to school despite lockdowns in most other states.
The narrator of the ad states:
“You saved our jobs and kept us going. They tried to shut us down, but you saved our business. You had our backs and honored our service. You led by facts, not fear, and you let us decide. You let me go to school. You gave me a voice. You put us first and didn’t let them keep us apart. You let us learn. You let us compete – all of us. You protected our right to worship together in person, and you raised our pay. You protected our waters and kept Florida beautiful. When they attacked you, you didn’t cave. You stood strong for Florida. Thank you, Governor DeSantis.”
DeSantis also released a “Top Gun” inspired ad last month, highlighting his fierce stance against the corporate media, RSBN reported.
Coined “America’s governor” for his unparalleled leadership in the Sunshine State, DeSantis has become a national phenomenon, even landing on TIME’s 100 Most Influential People list during his first term as governor.
Under the “leaders” category, the 43rd governor of Florida, Jeb Bush, honored DeSantis in May, writing:
“During the pandemic, most people stayed home, and those who didn’t probably moved to Florida. Despite relentless criticism, Governor Ron DeSantis kept schools open, ensured Florida’s economy remained open for business, and allowed individuals to determine their own risk tolerance. His approach works. It’s one that has allowed Florida to emerge from the pandemic as a national model of personal freedom, economic growth, environmental protection, and education excellence. Florida continues to see record population growth, unemployment remains below the national average, the private sector is growing, and Florida remains a national leader in school choice. On top of that, DeSantis has demonstrated his environmental credentials with major investments to restore America’s Everglades, preserve and expand wildlife corridors, and protect Florida’s precious waterways.
While the Beltway crowd may not like his style, it’s his record that will become his legacy.”
In large part due to DeSantis, the Republican Party of Florida has gained thousands of voters across multiple counties, while Democrats have suffered significant losses ahead of November’s election.
Furthermore, Republican voter registrations outpaced Democrats by more than 100,000 for the first time in March, which Florida Republican Party Executive Director Helen Aguirre Ferré attributed to DeSantis.
Speaking with Fox News Digital, Ferré said, “There’s no beating around the fact this historic gain is because of Governor Ron DeSantis. Florida voters are appreciative of the palpable sense of freedom he has created in our state.”
