President Donald Trump has consistently defied the odds in his presidential campaign, and it is clear that he is making his mark on history yet again with never-before-seen fundraising hauls this month.

Consistent criticism from the media and leftist critics has pushed the narrative that Trump is simply not as stacked with campaign cash as the Democrat machine, but the president proved strongly in April that he can easily pull in cash like the Democrats do – but with much less effort.

Last week, Trump hauled in a record-setting $50.5 million in just one night at a fundraiser in Palm Beach, Florida, marking the highest-ever campaign fundraising haul in a single evening in history.

Trump followed that up by attending two fundraisers this week between Atlanta, Georgia, and Orlando, Florida, netting another combined $14 million in campaign contributions, bringing his total up to nearly $65 million in less than one week.

On Sunday, newly minted RNC Chairman Michael Whatley also revealed that since Trump was crowned the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in March, the GOP has raked in more than $100 million in just a matter of weeks.

Before heading to the Atlanta fundraiser on Monday, Trump told the press, “I think [Democrats] did $24 [million] and we did $52 [million], and we did it pretty easily…I didn’t need three presidents; I did it myself. I didn’t need so-called stars; we did it ourselves.”

Trump was referring to Joe Biden’s recent campaign fundraiser that raised around $26 million and required the “star power” of former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as well, RSBN previously reported.

With dominant support among the GOP electorate, Trump swept to victory easily in the 2024 Republican primary race, sparing him the need to spend heavily in battleground states against short-lived candidates like former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

Now, Trump is defying naysayers’ criticisms and kicking off a fundraising blitz in earnest, and it’s easy to see that the enthusiasm from his donors is increasing with the general election just six months away.

Even his former Republican opponent, Gov. DeSantis, is reportedly poised to begin fundraising for Trump in the name of defeating Joe Biden, demonstrating Trump’s unique ability to unify the GOP.

Trump addressed DeSantis’s rumored support this week at Mar-a-Lago, stating, “Today, I heard very nice things. I heard he’s going to campaign very hard for me. And he’s going to raise a lot of money for me. Ron, we like you. Welcome back.”
