Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) may be paving a path to the future with its newest move to expand into the realm of AI technology.

According to a press release from the company, TMTG has applied to register trademarks for both “Truth Social AI Search” and “Truth Social AI,” which is aimed at developing an AI function on its platform.

The TMTG umbrella currently encompasses President Trump’s free-speech social media site Truth Social, Truth+ live-streaming, and FinTech brand Truth.Fi.

“Integrating AI into Truth Social will be a big push forward in our initiative to expand and enhance the platform, further developing the Truth Social ecosphere as a one-stop shop for reliable information, non-woke news, and entertainment,” said TMTG CEO and Chairman Devin Nunes.

The AI feature will be integrated into the Truth Social apps on iOS, Android, and desktop, the company said.

In late June, TMTG announced a $400 million share buyback program, authorized by the board of directors. According to Nunes, this allowed the company the “flexibility to take actions like this which support strong shareholder returns, as we continue exploring further strategic opportunities.”

TMTG’s newest investment in AI additionally comes amid America’s strong push to become a leading superpower in the quickly evolving field.

This week, the Trump administration announced a multi-billion-dollar investment package in Pennsylvania aimed at expanding energy infrastructure, which will in turn help provide the output needed to support the rapid growth of AI.

“We’re here today because we believe that America’s destiny is to dominate every industry and be the first in every technology, and that includes being the world’s number one superpower in artificial intelligence,” President Trump said on Tuesday, during an energy and innovation-centered roundtable.
