‘GOING TO JAIL’: Trump blasts illegal voting following reports of registered non-citizens

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social on Friday that people who vote illegally will go “to jail.”

The strong words came following a report on Friday that approximately 2.7 million non-citizens may be registered to vote in the 2024 presidential election.

“IF YOU VOTE ILLEGALLY, YOU’RE GOING TO JAIL,” Trump wrote in all caps.

Just Facts, a nonprofit research institute, “found that about 10% to 27% of non-citizen adults in the U.S. are now illegally registered to vote,” an overview of the study states, according to The Daily Wire.

“The U.S. Census recorded more than 19 million adult non-citizens living in the U.S. during 2022,” it says. “Given their voter registration rates, this means that about two million to five million of them are illegally registered to vote. These figures are potentially high enough to overturn the will of the American people in major elections, including congressional seats and the presidency.”

Multiple states have announced the removal of ineligible voters from their voter rolls in recent weeks. Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt’s office recently stated that state election officials have removed 453,000 total ineligible voters since 2021.

Illegal immigration continues to serve as a major issue during the presidential election campaign. As RSBN previously reported, Trump announced during his Wednesday rally in New York Trump that he plans to visit Springfield, Ohio, and Aurora, Colorado, following surging migrant crime under the Biden-Harris administration.

“I’m going to go there in the next two weeks. I’m going to Springfield and I’m going to Aurora,” Trump said.

“You may never see me again, but that’s okay,” he continued. “Got to do what I got to do. What happened to Trump? Well, he never got out of Springfield.”

Springfield became a national controversy after news spread of over 20,000 Haitian migrants were relocated to the community. Reports included some migrants eating local ducks and cats, becoming the source of viral memes after being mentioned during the recent presidential debate.

“This is not sustainable. How about in Springfield, Ohio, they had 32,000 This is a little beautiful town. No crime, no problem. 32,000 illegal immigrants come into the town,” Trump said. “So they almost double their population in a period of a few weeks. Can you believe it? And you know what? They’ve got to get much tougher.”
