GOP voters are less than fond of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., according to a new survey from Rasmussen.

Per their findings, just 21 percent of likely voters believe that the Senate should keep McConnell as their leader, while a whopping 61 percent believe that McConnell should be replaced with someone else.

Rasmussen conducted the online survey alongside Paul Bedard’s “Washington’s Secrets,” finding that only 28 percent of likely voters have a “favorable” impression of the senior senator, demonstrating a 31 percent drop in his general popularity since August 2022.

Turning Point USA President Charlie Kirk uses McConnell as an example of failed Republican politicians.

McConnell has drawn the ire of many tried-and-true conservatives who see the Senate leader as a “RINO.” President Donald Trump even lambasted McConnell for his passivity in the 2022 midterm elections.

Speaking to the corruption and chaos of the 2022 elections in Nevada and Alaska, Trump wrote on Truth Social in November:

“Now they’re finding all sorts of Ballots in Clark County, Nevada. They are pulling out all stops to steal the Election from Adam Laxalt. Mitch McConnell, the Republicans Broken Down Senate Leader, does nothing about this. He’s too busy spending vast amounts of money on bad Senator Lisa M of Alaska, when Kelly S is FAR better. Should have fought and stopped the steal in 2020. Gave Dems 4 Trillion Dollars, never used Debt Ceiling. He is the WORST!”

In November, McConnell was reelected as the Senate GOP leader, defeating a challenge from Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., via The Los Angeles Times.

President Trump has made no secret of his distaste for McConnell. In October, he slammed the “Old Broken Crow, Mitch McConnell” for authorizing $9 million to be spent to defeat Trump-endorsed America First U.S. candidate for U.S. Senate in Alaska, Kelly Tshibaka.

Per RSBN, Trump ripped McConnell on Truth Social. He wrote, “The Democrat has no chance, and yet the Old Broken Crow, Mitchell McConnell, is authorizing $9 Million Dollars to be spent in order to beat a great Republican, Kelly, instead of $9 Million Dollars that could be used for Blake Masters, and other Republicans, that with this money would beat their Democrat opponent. Isn’t it ironic?”
