Harriet Hageman, Wyoming’s GOP congressional nominee, ripped Rep. Liz Cheney and celebrated her win, saying “the voters of Wyoming, sent a very loud message tonight.”

After her impressive victory against Cheney in the state’s primary election, Hageman commented on Cheney’s concession speech bashing President Donald Trump.

“I have not had an opportunity to even see or hear what she had to say because I’ve been kind of focused on what’s going on here. It doesn’t surprise me that she would revert to those same old talking points, because that’s really in large part what got her defeated,” Hageman told Fox News.

“She is not focusing on Wyoming, she’s not focusing on our issues. She is still focusing on an obsession about President Trump and the citizens of Wyoming, the voters of Wyoming, sent a very loud message tonight. We have spoken,” she added.

Cheney proceeded to attack President Trump after losing her congressional seat, saying, “The path was clear, but it would have required that I go along with President Trump’s lie about the 2020 election,” RSBN reported.

“It would have required that I enable his ongoing efforts to unravel our democratic system and attack the foundations of our republic. That was a path that I could not and would not take,” she continued.

While Trump sent a heartfelt message congratulating Hageman, Cheney received a scathing rebuke on Truth Social.

“Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!” he said.

In response to the concession speech, the president called Cheney “a fool who played right into the hands of those who want to destroy our Country!”

Trump wrote on Truth Social:

“Liz Cheney’s uninspiring concession speech, in front of a “tiny” crowd in the Great State of Wyoming, focused on her belief that the 2020 Presidential Election was not, despite massive and conclusive evidence to the contrary, Rigged & Stolen. It was, and that’s not even counting the fact that many election changes, in numerous States, were not approved by State Legislatures, an absolute must. Liz Cheney is a fool who played right into the hands of those who want to destroy our Country!”

Cheney now joins eight of the ten pro-impeachment Republicans who will not serve another term.
