In the Wyoming primary election, Harriet Hageman, the Trump-endorsed GOP candidate going head to head with incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., has surged in the polls.
According to a new Club for Growth PAC poll from WPA Intelligence, a survey of 400 primary voters in May showed Hageman with a staggering 30-point lead ahead of Cheney.
The poll also revealed that 56 percent of primary voters said they would support Hageman if the election were held today, giving her a majority of votes. By contrast, Cheney held only 26 percent of the potential vote in the same poll.
President Trump previously endorsed Hageman as part of an overarching move to unseat Cheney, largely due to her role as the Vice Chairwoman of the Jan. 6 Select Committee investigating the media-labeled “insurrection” that took place at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.
Breitbart reported that Cheney has also been linked to a public relations firm that previously worked for Planned Parenthood and Black Lives Matter, garnering the ire of conservative voters.
In 2021, Trump strongly endorsed Hageman as a challenger to “RINO” Republican Liz Cheney, stating that she was “all in for America First.” In fact, in a recent interview with RSBN, her rigid stance on election integrity is yet another reason why the president likely endorsed her.
“We must sure that it never ever happens again,” Hageman stated, referring to the election fraud that reportedly occurred in the state of Wyoming during the 2020 presidential election.
According to Trump’s endorsement, he believes that she will be a consistent and dependable fighter on issues of election integrity, immigration, the Second Amendment, and energy independence.
“Unlike RINO Liz Cheney,” Trump remarked, “Harriet is all in for America First. Harriet has my Complete and Total Endorsement in replacing the Democrats[‘] number one provider of sound bites, Liz Cheney. Make America Great Again!”
