President Donald Trump announced that he will hold a campaign rally in Houston, Texas, where he is scheduled to deliver remarks to supporters on Thursday, Nov. 2.
Trump is set to speak at Trendsetting Engineering Inc., an oil and gas solution manufacturer, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Trump’s rally in the Lone Star State will reportedly follow a fundraiser of his campaign’s from the day before in Dallas, per Dallas Morning News.
While a location for the Nov. 1 fundraiser has not been provided, 17 elected leaders like Texas’s Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, state Attorney General Ken Paxton, and GOP Reps. Ronny Jackson and Troy Nehls will be among those in attendance.
A Texas primary victory will be vital for presidential hopefuls. The second-most populous state will deliver 162 delegates on a winner-take-most basis, which will be crucial for the candidates’ delegate count.
