Former Democrat Secretary of State Hillary Clinton seems to have made a return to the public political arena of late, and her most recent comments on CNN with Christiane Amanpour have drawn intense criticism.

While discussing partisan battles on gun control, climate change, and the economy with Republicans in the past, Clinton claimed that today there is an “extremism” of “wagging the dog in the Republican Party.”

She asserted that “MAGA extremists” took their “marching orders from Donald Trump, who has no credibility left by any measure – he’s only in it for himself.”

Clinton’s most inflammatory comments, however, came when she called for the reeducation of Trump supporters. She stated, “When do they break with him? Because at some point, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members. But something needs to happen.”

Unsurprisingly, her remarks drew the ire of conservatives online, who found Clinton’s comments to be not only distasteful, but disturbing.

“@HillaryClinton you’ll never ‘deprogram’ me or millions of American First patriots,” Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., wrote on X.

Former Trump White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany commented, “Deplorable Moment times 10!”

In 2016, Hillary Clinton was widely expected by the legacy media and establishment political strategists to win the presidential election, but she was defeated by President Donald Trump.

Since then, Clinton has been largely absent on the political stage, but she has been making more public appearances of late. Trump Senior Advisor Jason Miller remarked on X, “SHE’S RUNNING! Crooked is warming up in the bullpen!”

Although it is expected that Joe Biden will be the one running against Trump in the general election in 2024, his obvious physical limitations and cognitive confusion have led some to speculate that another Democrat candidate may emerge ahead of November 2024.

Among speculative candidates are California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), former First Lady Michelle Obama, and now, Hillary Clinton.
