HONOR AND RESPECT: President Trump will make the Ground Zero site at the World Trade Center a national monument

President Trump made a new promise on Wednesday night, giving the ultimate honor and respect to the victims of the horrific 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

Trump’s announcement at his rally in Nassau County, New York, comes just seven days after America commemorated the anniversary of the tragic attacks.

Trump told the New York City firefighters attending his rally, “In your honor, I am announcing tonight that, as president, I will officially make the Ground Zero site at the World Trade Center a national monument, protected and maintained by the United States government, so that hallowed ground and the memory of those who perished there will be preserved for all time, preserved forever.”
