The House Ways and Means Committee are planning on opening a probe into how liberal activists are using money in their election campaigns, with fears funds are being used improperly.
Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., a member of the tax-writing committee and House Election Integrity Caucus, announced their plans to investigate how the Democrats are using money, especially in key battleground states.
Just The News reported what Tenney said, “We’re going to be investigating that as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Oversight Subcommittee.” As to what exactly they are investigating, Tenney said, “We’re going to look into whether they’re abusing the IRS rules in order to get all kinds of money.”
Many Republicans believe that some Democrat activists are taking advantage of tax-exempt funds to push for vote trafficking. This is a system where money is accepted for the goal of electing Democrats only. RSBN reported on new evidence that proves that top officials from the Georgia DA office had donated thousands of dollars toward Democrat campaigns.
Tenney clarified what she meant when she said “all kinds of money”: “Whether it’s foreign money or Sam Bankman-Fried’s mother funneling money in there to target certain types of voters in certain demographics in swing states to make sure that they get those vote votes in.”
Election interference has been a hot topic over the past few years, as seen in the legal persecution of President Trump as he fights his fourth indictment. RSBN’s Summer Lane called President Trump the “number one political target of tyrannical Deep State power players,” who remains ahead in the GOP polls.
Tenney explains what Republicans need to do next, “We have got to get aggressive. And we also have to look at the next factor. The Democrats use the legal system. They’re doing what they call ‘lawfare.’ That means suing, suing, and suing.”
