President Donald Trump is set to seize victory in the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 15, 2024, and such a prospective win will strongly set the tone for the Republican primary election season.
A win in Iowa will pave the way toward the most critical general election in the history of the United States, foreshadowing what could be a return to America First policies in 2025 with Trump in the White House.
In 2023, the president kept a steady pace of campaigning in key battleground states, ramping up his appearances throughout the year in places like Texas, New Hampshire, Iowa, Nevada, and Florida.
Now, as 2024 is upon the nation, Americans can expect to see Trump tour the U.S. once more, courting potential voters, presenting his forward-thinking Agenda47 policies, and solidifying his political strength by rallying populist support from sea to shining sea.
The Iowa caucuses, of course, will kick off the primary season, and in the Hawkeye State, Trump is in a powerful position to win. According to InsiderAdvantage Polling, Trump has a solid 32-point lead in Iowa over Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., who is tied with former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley at 17 percent of support.
Americans can likely expect to see a few Trump caucus events in Iowa and perhaps even a rally before the 15th, as the president is famous for holding huge voter events before a big election. RSBN will also provide live coverage of the Iowa caucuses as the results come in.
New Hampshire’s critical early-state primary will occur on Jan. 23, just days after the Iowa caucuses. Trump is leading with 44 percent of the vote in the Granite State (Saint Anselm), and it is unlikely that runner-up Nikki Haley will be able to gain more ground than she already has over Gov. DeSantis (who sunk to a beleaguered fourth place in their poll).
Trump will probably travel to New Hampshire before the primary, as well, to show solidarity with voters and ensure a high turnout.
Other states that will likely be the focus of rallies and events in the 2024 GOP primary election are Nevada (Trump has the state on lock with 60 percent of support, according to new data from McLaughlin & Associates), Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and perhaps, California (Trump is leading in the Golden State by 61 points).
If Trump wins the 2024 Republican primary nomination – which is likely, given his dominant position in the polls – he will revisit key states in the leadup to the general election. Voters can prospectively expect Trump to hit the campaign trail hard in swing states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin, in addition to electoral big dogs like Texas.
In all, with 2024 stretched wide and yawning before the United States, President Trump is slowly but surely carving a trail back toward the White House with the people firmly at his side.
