President Donald Trump gave a victory speech in Des Moines, Iowa, on Monday night in the wake of a powerfully projected win in the Iowa caucuses with over 90 percent of precincts reporting at Decision Desk. He strongly promised to fix the country’s immigration problems and stabilize the world stage.

He declared to a packed house of supporters, “We’re going to come together, we’re going to drill, baby drill right away, we’re going to seal up the border, because right now we have an invasion of millions and millions of people that are coming into our country.”

Trump vowed to stabilize the world stage, vowing to get Washington, D.C., under control, deriding its dilapidated state. ‘We’re going to rebuild our Washington, D.C.,” he promised, also vowing to “take control” of it.

“We’re going to rebuild our cities,” he continued.

The president strongly pledged to button up the border. “It’s not sustainable as a country and you know they’re coming from prisons and jails…they’re coming from all over.”

He foreshadowed a coming deportation operation in a prospective 2025 administration.

“We have to stop the invasion,” he said. “…We are going to turn it around SO FAST.”
