The events of Jan. 6 are still being pieced together, but the individuals arrested for alleged crimes committed that day remain imprisoned.
The most notable person charged is Jacob Chansley. Wearing a buffalo headdress and sporting the American flag, he entered the Capitol Building on Jan. 6 and entered the Senate Chamber, which was touted as a violent act, but most recently questioned by video footage contradicting that narrative released to Fox News and analyzed by host Tucker Carlson.
Thanks to the footage, Jacob Chansley’s case is once again receiving notice and his mother, Martha Chansley, gave an exclusive interview to The Gateway Pundit (TGP) to announce that he would be let out of prison “really soon.”
TGP called Jacob Chansley’s incarceration “a perfect example of political persecution by Marxists in the justice system.” They noted how the prosecutor allegedly fought to keep Chansley locked away to prevent him from speaking freely about the 2020 election.
Chansley is a Navy veteran and has been imprisoned since January 2021. His mother noted that “he’s remaining optimistic,” and even working in prison and teaching classes on metaphysics.
After the video evidence displayed that Chansley was guided through the Capitol Building by police, and there is no footage of him vandalizing property or being violent toward anyone, the validity of his imprisonment has been called into question, per RSBN.
His release would be a blow to the “insurrection” narrative that Democrats have spoken about since Jan. 6. No known date has been set at present.
