Podcast host Joe Rogan discussed the 2024 presidential race on Thursday, noting that he does not think Ron DeSantis can beat Donald Trump.
Rogan admitted, “He can’t compete with Trump. He doesn’t have the personality.”
“These people that love Trump, he’s their hero,” he added.
Rogan likened Trump supporters to cultists but simultaneously acknowledged that President Trump is congenital, makes people laugh, and knows how to work a crowd.
The most recent polls place President Trump widely ahead of DeSantis in the 2024 GOP presidential race, according to Real Clear Politics. He’s up 38 points in Michigan, 24 in Iowa, and 34 points overall.
During his recent podcast, Rogan admitted he does not think DeSantis should have entered the race.
He noted how the continued indictment situation “hardens their (supporter’s) position that he’s being targeted.”
The most recent charges levied against President Trump involve “conspiracy” and “obstruction” because he questioned the results of the 2020 election, despite the fact that dozens of Democrats have been documented not only questioning elections but flat-out denying them and attempting to overturn them, per RSBN.
The most notable of these individuals who have denied election results without legal repercussions are Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, and Hillary Clinton.
Joe Rogan has at least discussed this to some degree. He said, “These are the actions of a banana republic.”
