Joe Rogan says Republicans are now the ‘rebels’ in viral interview with President Trump

President Donald Trump sat down with podcaster Joe Rogan for Friday’s episode on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” with Rogan noting the rise of Republicans as the party of “rebels” and “punk rock” opposing the broken system of the left.

“The rebels are Republicans now. You want to be punk rock? You want to buck the system? You are conservative now. The liberals are now pro-silencing criticism. They are pro-censorship. They talk about regulating free speech,” Rogan said.

Trump responded, “They did something that they come after their political opponent.”

Under the MAGA movement, Republicans are now the ones challenging authority by rejecting the narrative of the mainstream media, cancel culture, the transgender movement, wokeness and the failed leadership of the Democrats under Biden and Harris within the last four years.

Republicans embracing themselves as “rebels” and “punk rock” mirrors the punk rock culture by going against the expectations of the cultural norms of society and corporations from the 70s and 80s.
