Jon Kahn’s Trump-inspired single “Fighter” reached the number one spot on iTunes within one day of its release.
The viral hit quickly surpassed top mainstream artists including Jelly Roll, Luke Combs and The Weeknd.
“I know I speak for my co-writer, Chris Wallin, when I say we are beyond grateful that the song is resonating so strongly and that folks responded to a portrayal of President Trump that reflects his resilience, passion and love for this country….especially when the media and Hollywood are bending over backwards to hide it,” told Breitbart News on Thursday.
In an Instagram post, Kahn added his thanks to listeners, saying, “Beyond humbled that this song is reaching so many people. FIGHT!”
Another post shared his heart for Trump, adding, “What other candidate could withstand what @realdonaldtrump has? My latest release ‘Fighter’ is for him and everyone who fights alongside him.”
“Released through Baste Records, ‘Fighter’ is more than just a song; it’s a tribute to Trump’s unrelenting perseverance,” the American Beat said in a review.
“What makes this hit stand out is that it never explicitly mentions Trump by name, allowing the emotional and visual context of the black-and-white music video, filled with striking clips of Trump, to do the talking,” it added.
