Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas reported back to the bench after being hospitalized with flu-like symptoms last month.

Thomas, the longest-serving member of the nation’s highest court, joined the rest of the justices for oral arguments Monday, asking the first question on the case of United States v. Washington.

However, the court did not address the justice’s absence from the court last month, the Washington Examiner reported.

According to The Epoch Times, Thomas was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., last month and was treated for an undisclosed infection.

Despite being admitted to the hospital and missing arguments, Thomas remotely joined the dissent on a decision following his discharge.

President Trump celebrated Thomas’s return by issuing a statement via his Save America PAC: “Glad to see Clarence Thomas is healthy and doing well.”
