President Donald Trump posted a video to his Truth Social account on Wednesday to remind voters of the negative impact of the Biden-Harris administration.
The video highlighted the vice president’s support of President Joe Biden’s failed policies concerning the economy, border and foreign policy.
“Kamala backed Biden on everything. She supported his disastrous economic agenda, higher taxes on the middle class. Kamala backed his open-border policies and their weakness invited wars,” the video’s narrator stated.
“President Trump fights for you. His strength kept us safe. Trump cut taxes for families, prices were lower, and the border secure, but Kamala wants to double down on failure. Kamala broke it. President Trump will fix it,” the video concluded.
The video followed a lengthy post from Trump that contrasted his campaign of “positive solutions” with the Harris campaign’s “hate.”
“While I am running a campaign of positive solutions to save America, Kamala Harris is running a campaign of hate. She has spent all week comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history,” Trump began.
“Now, on top of everything, Joe Biden calls our supporters ‘garbage.’ You can’t lead America if you don’t love the American People. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have shown they are both unfit to be President of the United States,” he continued.
“I am proud to lead the biggest, broadest, and most important political coalition in American history. We are welcoming historic numbers of Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans, and citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed. It is my desire to be the President of all the people,” Trump concluded.
Biden’s comments about Trump supporters as garbage came during his response to controversy over a comedian who referred to Puerto Rico as floating garbage during Trump’s New York rally on Sunday. The Trump campaign has sought to distance itself from the remarks as an inappropriate joke.
“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden stated in his response. The White House later backpedaled, releasing a transcript which included an apostrophe, and said the president was talking about the words of comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, and not all Trump supporters.
