Musical artist Kid Rock expressed his support for President Donald Trump over his vow to eliminate taxes on tips, referring to him as a “genius.”

Kid Rock made the comment in a Sunday post on Truth Social following the 45th president’s rally in Detroit, Michigan.

“As a bar owner, and having spoke to a few other bar / restaurant owners, this is HUGE! Most small buisness’s have all had challenges in staffing,” Kid Rock wrote.

“This will solve so many problems for so many hard working Americans! Trump is a genius and for the working class! Biden is straight Hollywood!” he added.

Kid Rock, whose Truth Social account boasts over 1.1 million followers, also shared a video of Trump speaking out in support of ending taxes on tips.

The musical artist also recently joined Trump in Ocala, Florida, at a “Rock the Country” event held June 7-8. The event included a high-profile list of musical artists where the former president appeared before an estimated 30,000 people.

The musician’s comments come just days after the announcement that he is joining Tucker Carlson for a national arena tour event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Sept. 20.

The comments are not the first time Kid Rock has publicly supported Trump. During a December interview with Tucker Carlson, the rock musician referred to him as “the greatest president we’ve had.”

“His spirits are always up, and he’s always talking about his country. He’s always talking about this country and how he wants to win…I’ve never seen anybody who wants to win for this country like that,” Kid Rock told Carlson.

“I don’t think we’ll ever see anything like it in our lifetime. I mean, he’s the greatest president we’ve had,” he continued.

Kid Rock also joined Trump for a Nashville fundraiser in February. The event included top Tennessee conservatives, including Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty. Nine of the state’s GOP House members were also in attendance.

The musical artist previously met with Trump during a UFC event where he claimed to meet with the CEO of Anheuser-Busch and discussed the company’s controversy related to a Bud Light campaign involving transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.
