President Donald Trump soared to victory with another big win on Monday morning, netting a historic 9-0 ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court that reversed the Colorado State Supreme Court’s decision to remove him from their 2024 ballot.
“BIG WIN FOR AMERICA!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social directly following the big news.
Allies and supporters of the 45th president joined him in celebrating, with some of the most prominent America First lawmakers and leaders issuing statements in the wake of the opinion.
Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) wrote on X, “A unanimous, huge win for President Trump and our country against the anti-democratic radical left. The American people decide our elections.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene also rejoiced, stating, “Trump stays on the ballot in communist states committing election interference by trying to block Americans from being able to vote for the candidate of their choice!”
“Today’s unanimous 9-0 Supreme Court decision is a victory for the American people, the Constitution, and our Republic,” wrote Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y.
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) candidly jumped in, “SCOTUS did their duty. They acted swiftly and UNANIMOUSLY to restore law and order and protect the right of the American people to choose their President.”
Trump ally and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy added his thoughts to the mix, as well, noting that the Supreme Court’s decision “needn’t be something to celebrate, it’s something we ought to once again take for granted: we the people decide who governs.”
He continued, “The fact that it took the highest Court in the land to say it shows how far we’ve fallen. But it’s a good start in the right direction.”
Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake posited, “9-0! Our Supreme Court formed a united front against this tyrannical attempt by the radical left to disenfranchise the American people. President Trump WILL be on the ballot in 2024. And he will win BIG.”
Respected Rev. Franklin Graham even joined the celebration, congratulating Trump on his big win with a statement posted on X. “This is not only a win for former President Trump, but sends an important message and helps protect future elections and candidates in our country,” he said.
Per the court’s decision, states cannot disqualify President Trump from the ballot, which effectively shuts down the slew of 14th Amendment cases that have been brought against him over the past year. Per their opinion, only Congress has the authority to enforce Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
