Firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., reminded Americans recently that she introduced articles to impeach Joe Biden two years ago, on his first day in office in 2021. “We will IMPEACH BIDEN!” she promised on Twitter.
Her comment comes shortly after House Republicans moved to elect Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., to lead the GOP-controlled House.
In her original bill that introduced articles of impeachment, Greene listed the following reasons for ousting the man currently occupying the White House:
- “Endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of government;
- threatened the integrity of the democratic system;
- interfered with the peaceful transition of power;
- imperiled a coordinate branch of government; and
- demonstrated that he will remain a threat to national security, democracy, and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office.”
Greene’s commitment to impeaching Biden has come hot on the heels of a series of scandalous revelations surrounding his reported mishandling of classified material. As reported by RSBN, classified documents have been located at both the Penn Biden Center and in four different locations within Biden’s private Delaware residence.
Kash Patel, the former Chief of Staff to the U.S. Secretary of Defense and close Trump ally, said during a recent episode of his show, “Kash’s Corner,” that he didn’t believe that the material found in Biden’s office and residence was moved “through one singular person’s hand.”
“I don’t believe for one second that these documents in the chain of custody, as we say, when they left the vice president’s office, Vice President Biden from the Obama administration, to the warehouse, garage, whatever you want to call it, moved through one singular person’s hand,” he stated. “We haven’t even gotten to the investigation in present day. We’re just talking about the last six years.”
