Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., scorched a British reporter on Wednesday after the journalist made an anti-gun comment.

The heated discourse occurred during a press conference where Greene and other pro-gun legislators shared their disgust for the gun-grabbing “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.” Additionally, the gun rights advocate publicly called out the 14 Republicans that signed onto the bill for its advancement.

The Georgia representative concluded her speech by saying, “it is our job to defend the Second Amendment.” Subsequently, the correspondent replied, “By our standards, we don’t have guns in the U.K.”

Adding fuel to the fire, the reporter added, “But we don’t have mass shootings either.” Followed by “And children aren’t scared to go to school.”

Living up to her bold reputation, Greene responded by saying, “You have mass stabbings, lady.” In addition, “You have all kinds of murder, you’ve got laws against that.” The interviewer refuted the claims, but not without Greene firing back. “You can go back to your country and worry about your no guns,” declared Greene. Ending with the last word, “We like ours here.”

Clearly, the first-term lawmaker is brave enough to take on the press, but she is not afraid of holding her colleagues accountable as well. According to Greene, “We’ve got to change our Republican Party and it has to happen right here.” In fellowship with Trump’s America First agenda, the Georgia native believes that voters will not trust the GOP if its members vote for gun confiscation.

Similarly, President Trump shared his thoughts on the bipartisan legislation in a post on Truth Social. This “Will go down in history as the first step in the movement to take your guns away.” Currently, the Senate is debating the bill.
