First Lady Melania Trump celebrated the five-year anniversary of her White House “Be Best” initiative this week, marking the occasion by sharing a dinner with foster care teens at Mar-a-Lago and lending her thoughts about her husband’s 2024 campaign bid.
In comments made to Fox News Digital, Mrs. Trump said that the 45th president had her full support. “My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again,” she stated.
The First Lady added, “He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”
Melania Trump’s departure from D.C. in 2021 has not halted her work for the foster care community. This week, she noted the anniversary of “Be Best” on social media, celebrating the ongoing support for the initiative:
“Today, on the 5th anniversary of my Be Best initiative, we are reminded of the incredible impact that can be achieved when we come together to support our next generation. The fact that two individuals from the foster care community have received university-level scholarships brings me great joy. Many thanks to my team and the community for ongoing support.”
The First Lady told Fox News Digital that more than 400,000 children are in foster care today and that her objective was to “reduce the gap and increase access to higher education for those who leave the foster care system.”
Mrs. Trump strongly voiced her support for her husband’s 2024 reelection campaign in November 2022. As reported by RSBN, she noted, “His achievements during his administration had a great effect on all of us, and he can lead us toward success and prosperity again.”
