First Lady Melania Trump says she’s ready for a return to the White House as President Donald Trump prepares for his second term.
The First Lady shared the comments during an interview on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday.
“The first time was challenging, we didn’t have much of the information. The information was withheld from us by the previous administration,” she said.
“But this time I have everything. I have the plans, I already packed, I have selected the furniture. So it’s a very different transition this time, the second time around,” she added.
“I think it will be an exciting four years. We have a lot to do to put the country back in shape.”
The interview also comes shortly after it was revealed that Amazon will release a documentary about the First Lady in 2025, RSBN previously reported.
Melania Trump and Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media are executive producers of the project, according to Amazon’s press release, and Brett Ratner of RatPac Entertainment will direct the movie.
Prime Video will share more details about the documentary as filming continues, and is scheduled to release plans once officially finalized.
“We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world,” the spokesperson said in the company’s press statement.
Though the First Lady makes few public statements, she shared her excitement to return to Washington shortly after her husband’s election victory.
“The majority of Americans have entrusted us with this important responsibility,” she began in a post on social media. “We will safeguard the heart of our republic – freedom. I anticipate the citizens of our nation rejoining in commitment to each other and rising above ideology for the sake of individual liberty, economic prosperity, and security.”
She added, “American energy, skill, and initiative will bring together our best minds to propel our nation forward forevermore.”
As RSBN previously reported, Melania Trump’s memoir “Melania” reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, her X account announced.
Her new book took the top spot in the hardcover nonfiction category three weeks ahead of Election Day, just ahead of Lisa Marie Presley’s “From Here to the Great Unknown.”
