A Nevada judge has dismissed a 14th Amendment challenge against President Trump’s eligibility to appear on the ballot.
Federal Judge Gloria Navarro recently rejected the challenge brought forward by GOP presidential candidate John Anthony Castro. According to The Hill, Navarro dismissed the challenge because they felt that Castro did not have standing that allowed him to present the challenge legally.
The Hill shared what Navarro wrote, “In rejecting his political competitor’s standing argument, courts have found that Castro improperly manufactured his standing merely to file this lawsuit.”
On Tuesday, President Trump’s spokesman, Steven Cheung, wrote: “Today’s dismissal of another bogus, bad-faith, Crooked Joe Biden-engineered attempt to deprive Americans as a whole, and the voters of Nevada specifically, of their right to vote for the candidate of their choice is not only a victory for President Trump, but a victory for all Americans and the people of Nevada.”
He continued, “President Trump remains undefeated in federal court against these cynical efforts to interfere in the 2024 election. Courts in eleven states have now dismissed similar, pathetic, 14th Amendment ballot cases.”
Last week, Cheung released a press statement addressing the dismissals of 14th Amendment challenges in other states. He wrote, “These dismissals now join pathetic cases in eight other states which have been dismissed outright in both federal and state courts.”
Cheung adds, “These partisan attempts are bogus, politically motivated, election inference lawsuits largely funded by billionaire allies of Crooked Joe Biden and his failing campaign. Biden’s Democrats have launched a multi-front lawfare campaign to disenfranchise tens of millions of American voters.”
The 14th Amendment challenges have been coming in from all sides, and so far, have been largely unsuccessful. For states like Colorado and Maine, which have ruled to remove Trump’s name from the ballot boxes, the campaign plans to take them to the Supreme Court.
RSBN reported that President Trump has a plan to protect the integrity of the 2024 election from this ongoing election interference. Cheung remains positive, writing, “President Trump will ultimately prevail in these unconstitutional attempts to steal the election and Make America Great Again.”
