A new Rasmussen poll conducted earlier this month reveals that most likely U.S. voters believe that Joe Biden should not run for reelection in 2024. They also think President Trump would win a rematch with Biden.
A telephone and online survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports and the Heartland Institute of 1,004 U.S. voters indicates that 61 percent believe Biden should not seek reelection. Only 28 percent expressed he should, and 11 percent were unsure.
Although 77 percent of Democrats view Biden favorably, less than half (49%) want him on the ballot in 2024. His favorability significantly drops with Republican and not affiliated voters. 85 percent of GOP voters believe he should not seek reelection, and only 21 percent of independent voters think he should.
Yet, President Trump remains the favorite candidate among survey takers. In fact, he would crush Biden by double digits in a presidential rematch, 50 percent to 36 percent, respectively.
Trump slammed Biden in a recent video on Truth Social, calling him “weak,” “unprepared,” “incapable,” and “unstable,” compiling several of Biden’s most troublesome moments and viral blunders.
As Americans await Trump’s decision on running in 2024, it is evident the 45th prseident could score a landslide victory against Biden and any other Democrat opponent, that is, if there is no cheating involved.
