Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., told RSBN’s Brian Glenn in an interview on Monday that she believes Joe Biden should be impeached.

Greene stated that Biden should be impeached because of the circumstances surrounding his son, Hunter Biden, and because of his “complete failure to secure the southern border and to protect the American people,” which Greene claims has created a national security crisis.

Greene is not alone. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, made similar remarks several months ago.

As reported by The Texas Tribune, Cruz stated:

“Probably the most compelling is the utter lawlessness of President Biden’s refusal to enforce the border. His decision to just defy federal immigration laws and allow 2 million people to come here unimpeded in direct contravention of his obligation under Article 2 of the Constitution to take care that the laws be faithfully executed. That is probably the strongest grounds right now for impeachment, but there may be others.”

Other members of Congress agree. According to The HillRep. Bob Good, R-Va., recently stated, “President Biden is willfully and intentionally endangering the safety and security of the American people by facilitating the invasion at our Southern Border.”

Good also questioned how a Republican majority (if Republicans regain control in November) could not impeach Biden for his “purposeful violation of his Article 4, Section 4 constitutional responsibility to protect the states from invasion?”

Unlike President Trump’s impeachments, which were entirely politically driven, many Republicans who support Biden’s possible impeachment do not want to do so solely on political grounds.

According to Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., “I never want to see impeachment used as a political tool ever again, as was the case with President Trump. President Biden has abdicated his duty to faithfully execute the Office of the President by openly defying federal immigration laws at our southern border.”

According to a new national University of Massachusetts Amherst Poll, more than two-thirds of Republicans believe that the House of Representatives should impeach Joe Biden if Republicans retake the House in November.
