President Donald Trump teased an eager audience on Friday while delivering remarks for the Faith and Freedom Coalition in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Would anybody like me to run for president?” he asked. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause.

Stirring the audience with a speech centered on faith, family, and traditional American values, President Trump commented, “We reject censorship, blacklisting and cancel culture because we know that the lifeblood of a free society is free speech…religious freedom is the foundation of all freedom.”

Trump also hinted at the momentum the GOP is riding as a slate of Trump-endorsed candidates head into a heated midterm season.

“This November we’re going to stand up to this left-wing fascism…we’re going to take back our freedom, we’re going to take back our country in November!” he said, drawing even more cheers from the crowd.

Although President Trump has not yet announced if he’ll be running for president in 2024, some conservative pundits project that the 45th president will likely wait until after the midterms to make an official announcement.

A new report from NBC News cited several sources close to Trump who are unsure if he will announce his plans to run for president sooner rather than later.

However, President Trump himself said in an October 2021 interview with Real Clear Politics’ Tom Bevan that one reason to bow out of running for president in 2024 could be his health. He continued, “You get a call from your doctor and that’s the end of that. That stuff happens; you hope it doesn’t.”

Trump continued his remarks in Nashville, rallying the crowd with an inspiring message. “With the prayers, passion, and commitment of everyone here today,” he said, “we are going to fight for this nation that we love so much.”
