President Trump’s approval rating landed at 52 percent, indicating majority support for the job his administration has done thus far.

The 47th president surpassed former President Joe Biden’s January 2025 approval numbers on several key issues, including the economy, immigration, foreign affairs, administering the government and handling inflation.

Overall, 58 percent of respondents said Trump was performing better than Biden.

In a wake-up call for the Democratic Party, 66 percent said that Democrats should join the mission of cutting government waste. Additionally, 66 percent believe the Democrats should “take more of a wait and see attitude” before opposing everything Trump does.

Trump’s strongest support came from his handling of illegal immigration. The poll showed that 81 percent of respondents support deporting immigrants who are in the United States illegally and have committed crimes.

A total of 76 percent of respondents were on board with undertaking a full-scale effort to find and eliminate fraud and waste in government expenditures, according to the poll. When asked about the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), 60 percent of respondents said it was helping make major cuts in government expenditures.

The same percentage of respondents support Trump’s closing of the border, beefing up security, and implementing policies that discourage illegal crossings.

The hot-button topic of men in women’s sports proved that Democrats are out of touch with the American people. A massive 69 percent of Americans support “Banning men who have undergone operations and hormones to become women from girls’ sports.”

Concurrently, 68 percent support Trump’s declaration that there are only two genders, male and female, in all government forms and programs.

Sixty-five percent also support eliminating race-based hiring practices related to government contracts and jobs.

Other well-received policies among respondents included 63 percent support for freezing and re-evaluating foreign aid and the overseeing departments, 61 percent support for reciprocal tariffs, 59 percent support for cutting spending already allocated by Congress, and 57 percent support for ending offshore drilling bans.

Regarding political part approval, 51 percent of Americans approve of how the Republican Party is handling its job, according to the poll. The Democratic Party took another jarring hit in the poll, with only 36 percent of Americans approving of their performance.
