The Trump campaign released a new ad Tuesday highlighting Vice President Kamala Harris as “dangerously liberal.”
The 30-second video expressed a variety of concerns regarding public safety from the vice president’s past.
“Safety on our streets and justice in our courtrooms are under attack because of Kamala Harris’ dangerous, liberal values,” the ad began.
“She’s tried to hide it, but Kamala helped fund a group that released assaulters, murderers, even a registered sex offender charged with terrorizing, threatening, and raping and eight-year-old girl,” it continued.
The video then shifted to quoting Harris in her own words.
“My values have not changed…. I know the importance of safety.”
The ad concluded with, “No, she doesn’t. Kamala Harris, still dangerously liberal. Still dangerous for America.”
The ad also released just hours after President Donald Trump posted a strong response to Harris over statement she made during their recent presidential debate in Philadelphia.
“The Rhetoric, Lies, as exemplified by the false statements made by Comrade Kamala Harris during the rigged and highly partisan ABC Debate, and all of the ridiculous lawsuits specifically designed to inflict damage on Joe’s, then Kamala’s, Political Opponent, ME, has taken politics in our Country to a whole new level of Hatred, Abuse, and Distrust,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Because of this Communist Left Rhetoric, the bullets are flying, and it will only get worse! Allowing millions of people, from places unknown, to INVADE and take over our Country, is an unpardonable sin,” he continued.
He concluded the statement in all caps, calling for strong borders and deporting migrant criminals.
“OUR BORDERS MUST BE CLOSED, AND THE TERRORISTS, CRIMINALS, AND MENTALLY INSANE, IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM AMERICAN CITIES AND TOWNS, DEPORTED BACK TO THEIR COUNTIES OF ORIGIN. WE WANT PEOPLE TO COME INTO OUR COUNTRY, BUT THEY MUST LOVE OUR NATION, AND COME IN LEGALLY AND THROUGH A SYSTEM OF MERIT. THE WORLD IS LAUGHING AT US AS FOOLS, THEY ARE STEALING OUR JOBS AND OUR WEALTH. WE CANNOT LET THEM LAUGH ANY LONGER. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump stated.
The Trump campaign separately released a statement on Monday blaming Democrats for their role in the second assassination attempt on Trump due to the left’s rhetoric.
“Thankfully, the would-be assassin was stopped by the heroic action of law enforcement — but make no mistake, this psycho was egged on by the rhetoric and lies that have flowed from Kamala Harris, Democrats, and their Fake News allies for years,” the campaign statement read.
