It likely comes as no surprise to Americans that President Donald Trump is the trusted man for the job when it comes to critical issues like the economy or border security.
Since 2021, the domestic landscape of the United States has significantly shifted. In the swirl of rising prices, illegal immigration, and foreign war, voters can’t help but compare the policies of the Biden administration against the policies of the Trump administration.
According to insightful data from a new Fox News poll, Trump is leading Biden by a whopping 15 points when it comes to the economy, and he leads by an even bigger margin of 18 points on the border.
Unsurprisingly, Joe Biden leads by 12 points on the issue of abortion, but Trump has a seven-point lead on foreign policy and guns and crime.
Fox News pointed out that their most recent data, collected with an “issues tracker,” doesn’t look at how “important an issue is to voters,” but rather, it measures which candidate would be best equipped to handle it from the view of the respondents.
On Truth Social, President Donald Trump shared data from a Fox News poll conducted between May 10-13, which gave him a 77-point advantage among respondents when it comes to handling the economy over Joe Biden.
With the general election only five months away, the race between Biden and Trump is getting intense, but it looks like the 45th president has much more support than Biden, especially on the heels of a shocking NYC verdict last week that rendered Trump guilty.
Since then, Trump’s odds of winning the election have risen exponentially as voters begin to look at him as a persecuted political figure. In fact, Polymarket’s forecast has predicted that Trump has a 19-point lead over Biden when it comes to winning the November election.
