Exactly one year after he was nearly assassinated while campaigning in Butler, Pennsylvania, President Donald Trump attended the FIFA Club World Cup finals between Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea at MetLife Stadium.

Alongside First Lady Melania Trump, the president was spotted in a suite alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantio and his wife, Leena Al Ashqar, Fox News reported.

He was also joined by Attorney General Pam Bondi, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, and media mogul Rupert Murdoch, according to JustTheNews.

President Trump took part in the trophy presentation, presenting awards to the players and referees after Chelsea won the match, 3-0, per Fox News.

Prior to the game, the president left his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey on the one-year anniversary of his assassination attempt.

The White House posted a campaign-style video the president’s Truth Social on Sunday in remembrance of the shooting.
