Turning Point USA is an American staple. Not only has the organization given young people across the nation a voice, it is now elevating our culture in a time when the corporate media is rife with anti-American propaganda. As the NFL has embraced an un-American upcoming halftime show, TP USA has announced that it will put on its own counterprogramming: The All-American Halftime Show.
Immediately after the announcement, Americans flooded social media expressing their support. Why? Because we are fed up with media messaging that attacks our culture, values and freedom of expression.
The NFL went woke years ago. After Ravens player Ray Rice and his fiancée assaulted each other, and the footage went viral, the Super Bowl attempted to spotlight domestic violence issues with PSAs. While this was well-intentioned, most people watch football to enjoy a game and forget serious life issues, so replacing traditionally run comedy commercials with videos of actresses crying over the horrors of domestic violence left people unsettled.
Then, in 2016, San Francisco 49ers player Colin Kaepernick started kneeling during the singing of the National Anthem during NFL games, in protest of law enforcement’s shooting of black criminals. He supported BLM’s rhetoric that the police are systematically racist, and used his profession to make it a national conversation, a move that heavily politicized the NFL.
Kneeling during the American National Anthem became commonplace as other players joined in. The NFL took the side of those politicizing the sports league, and by 2024, a black national anthem was also being performed, with an underwhelming response from the crowd, who didn’t buy tickets to watch our nation be further divided. Last month, the Brazilian National Anthem was also sung before the Chiefs/Chargers game, leading any American who isn’t currently boycotting the woke NFL (like most conservatives) to wonder what country they were in.
The NFL’s lack of patriotism and support for American culture was solidified with the announcement that Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is a “performer” who wears dresses, just for fun, per Bazaar, and decided not to include the United States in his most recent concert tour because he opposes President Donald Trump’s enforcement of American immigration law, according to local ABC 7.
In addition, he hosted Saturday Night Live, another woke propaganda program that has been tanking its viewership with woke rhetoric for years. The bunny rapper spoke in Spanish during his monologue, telling conservatives they have four months to learn the language to understand him. Apparently, he hasn’t heard about Latinos for Trump and assumes that no conservatives speak Spanish.
All of these events have left Americans thirsty for a simple, fun game of football. It has been years since we have been able to sit down and yell, clap and cheer without being lectured about identity politics or feminism. Now, even the half-time shows are rife with performers who hate American culture and its rule of law.

Turning Point USA has been at the forefront of growing trends for years. Its organizers know what the youth of this country needs and wants. They also support older generations who love their nation, and that’s what makes their decision to host an All-American Halftime Show so great.
Finally, the American people will be able to enjoy a fun patriotic concert that highlights American musicians who appreciate the freedoms this country has offered them.
