The importance of instilling education and academic achievement is at the cornerstone of the minds of undecided Asian American voters. Asian American parents prioritize education and success through academic achievement by being active in their children’s education from grade school to college. According to the 2024 AAPI Voter Survey, one of the critical issues for Asian American voters includes education at 80 percent.
However, progressive policies enacted by the Department of Education under the Biden administration threatens the very foundation of the learning experience for innocent children. School districts from coast to coast are subjected to progressive ideologies ranging from critical race theory, LGBTQ curriculum, and boys playing in girls’ sports.
Public school education continues to push children in the wrong direction by indoctrinating them with the far left’s woke ideology instead of viable essential life skills, including critical thinking, reading, writing and math. As a result, many students are falling behind with different education levels in reading, writing, and math.
Public school education policy across the board is largely dictated by the Department of Education. Education policy analyst and Filipino American reporter from Georgia, Frances Floresca Baldwin, told Open Forum, a Filipino conservative weekly podcast:
“The Department of Education was created in 1979. Ever since then, our test scores have dropped, and our nation’s standing in the world in education has dropped. All of a sudden states are competing against each other, when we all have our different needs education-wise. Someone in Nevada is going to be different from someone in New York.”
Meanwhile, teachers are underpaid nationwide in school districts due to budget deficits, while school administrators hold high salaries. In addition, teachers also face the financial strain of covering the cost of classroom supplies out of their own pockets.
President Trump is addressing education policies for Asian Americans
Under President Trump’s America First policies, he will give the power back to parents, especially to the Asian American community. He highlighted the importance of bringing back quality public school education by upholding school choice and curriculum transparency by adopting a parental bill of rights, removing men from women’s sports, cutting the cost of school administrators, and cutting federal spending for schools teaching critical race theory.
President Trump calls for uplifting the Asian American community through his education policy.
Asian American parents need to make the right choice by voting for Trump because he will promote the need to abolish the Department of Education and bring power back to the parents, to improve educational opportunities for every single student.
