The House Oversight Committee issued a subpoena for U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Tuesday to testify regarding her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation.
The subpoena was issued on Tuesday and stated, “The Committee has questions regarding the Department of Justice’s handling of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and his associates and its compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. As Attorney General, you are directly responsible for overseeing the Department’s collection, review, and determinations regarding the release of files pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and the Committee therefore believes that you possess valuable insight into these efforts.”
Oversight Committee member, Rep. Nancy Macy, R-S.C., has consistently called for the full release of all the files to the public. She heralded Bondi’s subpoena in a post on X. “Under oath. No more delays. No more dodging. No more redactions,” Mace stated. “We look forward to her answers. So do the survivors.”

According to The Hill, Mace accused Bondi’s Justice Department of withholding all of the Epstein files. After the vote, she told reporters, “There’s over 65,000 documents missing, and we know there are more than 2,000 videos that are out there. They’re not giving Congress all the information or all the documents, and they’re obfuscating. And I’d like to ask questions about that in our deposition.”
Bondi is scheduled to testify on April 14th.
