POTUS doesn’t budge on Iran, says he’s ‘the least pressured person ever’

President Donald Trump on Thursday said he was the “least pressured person ever” when it came to making a quick deal with the Iranian regime amid a ceasefire that so far has no end in sight.

“For those people, fewer in number now than ever before, that are reading The Failing New York Times, or watching Fake News CNN, that think that I am ‘anxious’ to end the War (if you would even call it that!) with Iran, please be advised that I am possibly the least pressured person ever to be in this position,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

His comments come just hours after he remarked early Thursday morning that Iran’s internal leadership is rife with problems, half-joking that the regime was “having a very hard time figuring out who their leader is!”

This internal strife in Iran comes after U.S. and Israeli strikes in the region reportedly targeted and killed several layers of Iranian leadership. The shakeup has been so bad, in fact, that President Trump has suggested multiple times in public comments that, because there is no leadership remaining in Iran, there has been nobody for the U.S. to negotiate with.

There is a reported battle in Iran between the “Hardliners” and the “Moderates,” according to the president, as the power vacuum begs to be filled.

In his Thursday afternoon comment, President Trump said that he had “all the time in the World – but Iran doesn’t – The Clock is ticking!”

The U.S. military this week also received authorization from the president to “shoot and kill” vessels in the Strait of Hormuz caught dropping mines into the key shipping corridor, amid the United States’ blockade there.

“Iran’s Navy is lying at the bottom of the Sea, their Air Force is demolished, their Anti Aircraft and Radar Weaponry is gone, their leaders are no longer with us, the Blockade is airtight and strong and, from there, it only gets worse — Time is not on their side!” President Trump argued. “A Deal will only be made when it’s appropriate and good for the United States of America, our Allies and, in fact, the rest of the World.”

According to some reports, President Trump on Thursday will focus on securing peace between Israel and Lebanon, as ambassadors will purportedly meet at the White House for negotiations amid a separate ceasefire agreement between those two nations.
