The countdown to America’s 250th birthday celebration is officially on, and President Donald Trump is poised to headline a memorable event in South Dakota on Friday, July 3, where the heritage of liberty is sure to burn brightly.
The beautiful and iconic Mount Rushmore, carved into the stunning Black Hills, will provide the backdrop for a fireworks show elevating 250 years of American independence and spirit. President Trump is scheduled to headline the event. This will mark the first time he has returned to Mount Rushmore for a July 4th celebration since his first term in office.
“It is my honor to welcome President Trump to the great state of South Dakota – the freest state in a nation founded on the principles of freedom,” wrote South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden (R) in a recent statement. “Together, we will throw the biggest birthday party ever for our nation and celebrate America’s legacy of freedom, liberty, and justice for all!”
Tickets for the event at Mount Rushmore on Friday were awarded via a public lottery system in April and will be required for physical entry to the celebration.
According to the National Park Service website, special events are expected to begin around 4 PM MT (6:00 PM ET).
The celebration is also poised to highlight musical tributes to America, featuring the talents of military bands, aviation flyovers, and important salutes to U.S. servicemembers who keep the country safe.
Gov. Rhoden is expected to take the stage “as twilight settles over the Black Hills,” according to Freedom 250’s most recent press release. He will welcome President Trump, who is slated to deliver a “historic address commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary and charting a course for America’s next chapter.”
Join the celebration and tune in for LIVE coverage from Mount Rushmore on Friday, July 3, at 12 PM EDT on RSBN’s official site, YouTube, Rumble, X, Facebook, and Truth Social.
