President Donald Trump addressed the FBI’s shocking and politically-motivated raid on Mar-a-Lago during his Saturday night Save America rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Trump called it a “shameful raid and break-in” that was a “travesty of justice that made a mockery of America’s laws, traditions, and principles before the entire world – the entire world was watching, and they’re shocked.”
He said, “The Biden administration invaded the home of their chief political opponent.” He added that he was “absolutely destroying him [Biden] and everyone else in the polls.”
The 45th president told a crowd of high-energy supporters that the raid was conducted on a “phony pretext” and that the FBI got “permission from a highly political magistrate who they handpicked.”
Further, Trump said that the FBI and the DOJ “trampled upon my rights…as if our country that we love so much were a third world nation.” Trump also pointed out that the FBI had the unmitigated gall to rifle through the First Lady’s personal closet at Mar-a-Lago during their raid, as well as conducting a “deep and ugly search of the room of my 16-year-old son, leaving everything they touched in a far different condition than it was when they started.”
Trump added that the FBI and the Justice Department had become “vicious monsters.”
The crowd on Saturday was eager and ready to hear Trump as he took the stage, shaking the arena with thunderous applause and cheering to show their overwhelming support for the president during his remarks.
