President Trump defends his children: ‘These are good people’

President Trump swung back against the savagery of New York State Attorney General Letitia James’s civil fraud lawsuit filed against him and his family this week during remarks delivered at a Save America rally on Friday night in Wilmington, North Carolina.

He told the crowd, “There’s no better example of the left’s chilling obsession with targeting political opponents than the baseless, abusive and depraved against me, my family members, my company…by the racist attorney general of New York State, Letitia ‘Peekaboo’ James.”

“Peekaboo” is Trump’s nickname for James, who has been relentlessly targeting the 45th president with seemingly endless legal attacks.

Trump slammed James for skyrocketing crime in New York City, railing against her for failing to address the real problems in her state and spending her time politically attacking Trump and his children.

“Rather than spending all of her time going after me and my family – Ivanka, think of it, Ivanka – Ivanka’s a very good person,” Trump went on. “Don Jr. – he’s a good person. Eric…these are good people.”

Trump said that James deserved to be “removed from office” and mentioned that Democrat prosecutors were “out of control.”

“This crazy radical leftist nut job James should be going after the killers, the gang bangers, drug dealers and MS-13 savages who are ravaging who are ravaging the state of New York,” he concluded.
